Finger puppets my mom made for the kids for their Easter baskets this year- I think I like the bunny the best! A little felt, a blanket stitch, and some embroidery... so cute!
So here's my Easter Egg project this year... beaded eggs. A great way to use up all my seed beads (how do I always end up with a million seed beads? they're addictive.)
Next year I want to try these Woolly Eggs. I've never done any felting, but I've always wanted to try it. Thanks for the heads up, Court!
Birthday card for my friend, Jennie. I thought chandelier earrings deserved a chandelier card. I got to use my WigJig to make the earrings- it was fun, I haven't pulled it out in a long time.
Thursday is free dessert night at the coffee shop. My mom usually makes something, but I had time this week so I made Valentine cupcakes-red velvet cake, cream cheese frosting and white chocolate piped hearts. Yum!
I ran across this jewelry designer while looking for images and fonts for Matt's new tatoo. I love the combo of modern metal and organic wood. The designer is Amy Bengston and you can find the rest of her line here.
I finally finished off this dress I made for Delia. You can't tell from the photos, but the fabric is a baby-whale corduroy- it is so cute! I'm thinking of making a dress out of it for Melissa (one of my dolls I had growing up that now lives in Delia's room), too.
Welcome to my crafty blog! I'm a work from home & stay at home mom of four, and I love to spend my free time crafting. I love pretty and creative things and feel like the world could always use more of them. Please feel free to leave comments and suggestions- I'd love to hear from you.
